First graders in Mrs Koval’s class read the story If I Built a School by Chris Van Dusen. The boy imagines how he would design the ideal school including a zoo, water slide, hovering school desks, and a sky diving simulator.
The first graders were challenged to design, create, and build their own dream school. They shared it with their classmates. First Grade ROCKS!

Today, Spalding STEM Academy's PTO held a Fun Run for us! This "Fun"draising event involved having students get pledges for them to walk for at least 30 minutes. Our course was set up in the park next to the school. We had amazing parent volunteers spread throughout the course to cheer everyone on. And we had water and a popsicle available too! It was an incredibly fun event! Thank you Spalding PTO for organizing the event!
