Dallas Harris Elementary

Thanks to a grant from the American Academy of Dermatology, we are able to make our
school a safer place. We will build a permanent shade structure over the play equipment to protect our students from the sun. Seeking shade is an important way to reduce the risk of UV exposure where families live, learn, and play.

🎭 Lights, camera… action!

In less than a week, our Dallas Harris students auditioned, rehearsed, and brought The Secret Garden to life with the incredible team from Missoula Children’s Theatre.

We are so proud of the hard work, courage, and talent our Yotes showed on stage tonight. What an amazing performance!

Kindergarten registration is now open! We can’t wait to meet all our new Yotes.

Meet the Pack: Kali Riden

Mrs. Riden teaches kindergarten at Dallas Harris and has been teaching off and on since 2008. She loves the energy and joy her students bring—every day is something new and exciting.

What she loves about Dallas Harris? “Dallas Harris is the best school in Boise because of the kind students, supportive parents, and amazing staff. I love the people I get to work with and this job is so much fun. The kids bring me joy every day and we laugh a lot!”

Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and her new puppy, George. She also loves drinking coffee, shopping, and taking naps.

We’re so glad to have her at Dallas Harris! 🐾🩵

Starting the year The Yote Way! 🐾🩵

We kicked things off by learning about our learning dispositions! This quarter we’re focusing on being curious 🤔💡River the Yote even stopped by to cheer us on! 🐺🩵

Then it was time for our Recess Rodeo—learning how to play safely and kindly on the playground & blacktop. 🎯🏀
