Reminder: CTC Students have school tomorrow morning, Friday, 10/9.

This is a reminder that there is no school for students on Friday, October 9 and Monday, October 12, 2026. School offices will be open regular hours on Friday for staff in-service, but offices will be closed on Monday.

For students attending Cumberland Perry Area Career & Technical Center, please note the following:
• Food Services: Food services will not be available on Friday, October 9.
• Transportation: Transportation will be provided to and from CPACTC. Students must be dropped off and picked up at Boiling Springs High School.
• Morning Departure: 7:40 a.m. Students should arrive no later than 7:35 a.m.
• Return Time: Approximately 11:25 a.m.

Today BSHS students had the opportunity to have conversations with local law enforcement officers in celebration of National Coffee with a Cop Day. We would like to thank each of the officers for taking time out of their days to build positive relationships with our students!

BSHS's Model UN attendees had a fantastic first conference on Tuesday, 10/6. Congratulations to TJ Casses, who won the Distinguished Delegate award for his work as New Zealand in the General Assembly. TJ was chosen from more than 100 GA members to receive the award. The next conference will be at Manheim Township on November 10. Go Bubblers!

BSHS Families: As you turn the calendar to October, it's a great time to check your student's grades on Sapphire. Dr. Pittman emailed the BSHS Fall Conference signup link on Monday, 9/28, if you'd like to meet with your student's teacher(s).

Today, members of the BSHS Spanish Club spent time with the 4th graders at IFES for a Hispanic Heritage Month event. Students talked about the meaning of the word "Hispanic", learned new Spanish terms and cognates, made Papel Picado, and finished the event with a fun dance to the Kulikitaka. ¡Fue una fiesta para todos!
Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated nationally September 15th through October 15th.
