Monroe Fire Company's Assistant Fire Chief Swab gave our AM kindergarten students a close-up look at the fire truck and showed them some of the important equipment firefighters use. Our students were excited to see the gear up close and learn more about what firefighters do to help keep our community safe.

Our sincere thanks to the Monroe Fire Company and its firefighters for their service to our community and for helping our students learn the importance of fire safety!

This morning, our Monroe Eagles took a moment of silence as a school to remember and honor all those whose lives were forever changed on September 11, 2001.

We remember the innocent lives lost that day, the families who lost loved ones, and the heroes who showed incredible courage and selflessness in the face of unimaginable circumstances. Each holds an important place in our remembrance.
