🦋 Creativity Takes Flight!

One of the highlights of our Mad Science butterfly workshop was a hands-on art activity that combined creativity with science. Using coffee filters, our campers designed beautiful butterflies while learning about these amazing insects and their incredible life cycle.

Activities like this encourage creativity, strengthen fine motor skills, and help children make meaningful connections to what they’re learning. We love seeing our little artists and scientists at work!

🐛 A New Adventure Has Begun!

As part of our Butterfly Week, our campers are getting an up-close look at one of nature’s most amazing transformations. We welcomed some very special visitors to our classroom—live caterpillars!

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be observing them as they grow, form their chrysalises, and, with a little patience, emerge as beautiful butterflies. This hands-on experience gives our children the opportunity to witness the butterfly life cycle right before their eyes while learning about patience, observation, and the wonders of nature.

🦋 Butterfly Week is off to a flying start!

Today, our campers welcomed Mad Science for a special butterfly workshop! Through hands-on exploration, the children learned about the butterfly life cycle, where butterflies live, and what they eat. They also created their own colorful butterfly wings to celebrate everything they discovered!

The smiles say it all—our little butterflies had a wonderful time learning, imagining, and exploring together. We can’t wait to see what the rest of Butterfly Week has in store!

Our preschoolers loved gathering together to hear wonderful stories, sing, dance, and share lots of smiles. It’s always a joy to welcome community partners who help inspire a love of reading while making learning so much fun.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Mrs. Eloisa Avino, who was recently honored with the Preschool Spotlight Award by the Bogota Preschool Staff!

Mrs. Avino’s kindness, dedication, and unwavering commitment to young children shine through in everything she does. She creates a warm, nurturing classroom where every child feels welcomed, valued, and encouraged to grow. Her passion for early childhood education and the positive relationships she builds with children, families, and colleagues make her truly deserving of this special recognition.

Our Summer Camp is off to a wonderful start! 🌞

Although the rainy weather kept us indoors today, it didn’t stop us from having a fantastic first day. We loved welcoming new campers, reconnecting with familiar faces, and watching friendships begin to grow through play, laughter, and exploration.

We’re looking forward to a fun-filled summer of learning, creativity, and making special memories together. Thank you to all of our families for helping us kick off another great camp season!
