🚨 LONG POST ALERT! 🚨
We’re a little late posting about it, but we couldn’t let our final Summer STEAM Experience 2026 workshop go by without sharing just how amazing it was! Last week, we wrapped up our summer programming with our 3D Printing Workshop, and what a fantastic way to end an unforgettable summer of STEM learning.
During the workshop, students stepped into the exciting world of 3D design and manufacturing. They learned what 3D printing is, how it is transforming industries around the world, and how engineers, architects, healthcare professionals, and entrepreneurs use this technology every day. Students explored beginner-friendly 3D design software, learned how digital designs are transformed into real objects, watched the printers build creations layer by layer, and discovered the importance of creativity, engineering, problem-solving, and innovation. Everyone enjoyed seeing the printers in action and took home a special 3D-printed keepsake they could proudly share with their families.
As we look back on Summer STEAM Experience 2026, our hearts are full. This summer was filled with learning, laughter, creativity, discovery, and new friendships. Watching students become excited about science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics is exactly why Washington Parish STEM exists.
But we’re not done yet! 👀
