We ended last week with a super sweet Friday! Per very enthusiastic student request, our students were invited to wear pink on Friday in honor of the great 🦋Dolly Parton. Mr. Vaughn Gibson visited and spoke to religion classes about St. Augustine, whose feast day was Friday. We closed out the day with a delicious watermelon treat and a celebratory extra recess. We are so grateful to Mr. George Corkern of Teach Remember Communicate and Grow (TRCG) and Mr. Clay Shook of the Bogalusa Mission for sharing the juicy watermelon with our students. Mr. George has great things on the horizon for our parish, and we can’t wait to be a part of it. 💙🤍🩵
