HAPPY STAFFERDAY! Natalie M and Caren hung out at Boerne's Animal Care Service on Tuesday for their weekly program for kids to read to cats and dogs. Our staff talked with families about the summer learning odyssey and reading challenge while there.

A FRIDAY FUNNY! Our new Youth Services Manager, Deanna (Miss Dee Dee) has a crazy hat collection, and we've already seen two just this week! Be sure to check out our summer calendar online, and stop by to pick up your reading challenge. It's for all ages!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US! Fifteen years ago today we swung open the doors to our brand new Patrick Heath Public Library. This picture shows all the people who came for our opening presentation. Wow! It was crazy that day! We are so grateful to this community because of all the support. Thank you for making us such a lively, happy library!

HAPPY STAFFERDAY, PART DEUX! The newest member of our team, Miss Dee Dee was being chased around by a T. Rex, but its arms were too short to catch her! Come down to the library today, anytime between noon and 3pm to see "live" dinosaurs in action. It's our summer programming kickoff!

HAPPY STAFFERDAY! Robin is hanging with a dinosaur that's been long dead, but today, Saturday, May 30, from noon to 3pm, there will be live dinosaurs running around all over the library! The whole family is welcome to participate! Our theme this summer is "Unearth a Story."

☀️This summer is all about unearthing your story here at the library, and for our opening event, we will be unearthing some "real-life" dinosaurs!

Join us on Saturday, May 30 from 12-3pm!

🦖Dino handlers will be here with baby and full-grown dinosaurs roaming the library and interact with attendees.

🦕Don't miss the special educational dino performance starting at 1pm!

In addition to the "live" dinosaurs, attendees can get their face painted for free on a first-come, first-served basis and head over to the Kelani Truck and purchase some of their frozen treats!

It's BOOKFACE FRIDAY!! Isn't this one a perfect introduction to our summer learning odyssey. The theme is "Unearth a Story," and of course dinosaurs will be playing a large role in the library's programming. In fact, our opening session is Saturday from noon to 3pm at the library.
