Put information in your school newsletter, weekly emails, on your website or page. The best time is the week of 4/25 during Early Voting. Talk to parents and encourage them to vote. Use business or school marquees to advertise early voting from 4/25-5/3. Refer voters to the “Voting” page of the Boerne ISD bond website for dates, locations and times: [insert link here]

Voter Tracking: Help us in collecting FOR votes to ensure passage of the Boerne ISD Bond Election on May 7th! Every vote counts! Keep track of voters you talk to that commit to voting FOR the election so we can make sure they get out vote during Early Voting. Endorse: We need letters from community members telling their story of why they are voting in support of the BISD Bond Election. Letters can be just a few sentences and will be posted on Facebook and sent through email blasts. Please feel free to submit a photo along with your letter. What You Can Do – GET INVOLVED

Phone Calls: We need people to make voter identification phone calls to help us track
“For” votes during the week of 4/11 and 4/18. We will then complete “Reminder to Vote” calls during the week of 4/25 and on the 5/7 Election Day. Phone lists and sample call scripts will be provided. Neighborhood Meetings and Block Walking: We need people to walk key voting neighborhoods as well as their own to talk to people about the bond election. Hosting neighborhood meetings at your home or neighborhood facilities is also a great way to gather support! This one is a great way to involve your kids in the process! Yard Sign & Flyer Distribution: We need help blanketing Boerne in signs and flyers. Help take a stack to your friends and neighbors or distribute at key community locations or events. Remind Parents During Early Voting: Turning out our parents to the polls during Early Voting will be critical to the success of this election! During the week of 4/25 through 5/3, remind parents to GO VOTE! Temporary voting locations have been established at specific district campuses. Work the Polls: It will be important that as voters arrive at the polling locations, they quickly see the outpour of support for the BISD bond election. We need volunteers to work the polls during Early Voting and Election Day to talk to voters, pass out flyers and put up extra signage! We are grateful for your help in this very important endeavor!
