My husband Mark, along with Walt Avery, is going on a mission trip this October with Global Awakening (Randy Clark) to Sao Paulo, Brazil. There, they will be members of the healing and deliverance ministry team, who will be praying for people in need of healing and/or deliverance.
This is their 2nd year to go the Brazil Mission Trip. Last year was incredible. The power of God manifested through the team, and they witnessed the miraculous. People were healed of many kinds of sickness and disease. We’re excited this year because they're going with much greater anticipation and expectation of what God is going to do.
We are reaching out to you and others to be a prayer and/or financial support partner while they are on this trip. Included below are some prayer needs and information on how you can contribute financially.
Thank you for your support.

Jump In and Learn More about New Pool, Sports Court at Boerne Family YMCA!
The Boerne Family YMCA invites community members to join them on Tuesday, November 19, at 6:30 pm at our current location, 820 Adler Rd., to learn more about the Y’s proposed Boerne Aquatic and Recreation Center (BARC), Phase II of our existing campus.
Boerne YMCA’s Phase II plans will offer residents of Boerne and Kendall County new opportunities for health and wellness. It will be located on land currently owned by the city, adjacent to the existing Y at 820 Adler Road, away from traffic on Highway 46, yet centrally located.
The total estimated cost of Phase II is $12 million and includes:
-Year-round lap pool and a seasonal, zero-entry recreational pool
-Full-service modern locker rooms, including family locker rooms
-Expanded Child Watch Center for families with young children
-Multi-purpose space for community partnerships, including mobile teaching kitchen, group exercise, educational initiatives, and family-centered programs
-An outdoor covered sports court
The core of BARC is water safety and drowning prevention, community connectedness, and fitness. Currently, the only pool accessible to city residents is the City Pool, which is reaching the end of its functional lifespan. There is great need for a new aquatic center to provide life-saving swim lessons, an accessible pool for people with special needs and mobility challenges, and low impact exercises for people of all ages. Because drowning is the 2nd leading cause of death among children under the age of 14 years
(Texas Drowning Prevention Alliance), the YMCA wants to empower all members of the community with swimming and water safety skills, especially children.
The YMCA is currently raising funds for BARC from individuals, corporations, and foundations, but residents who have an interest in a new aquatic center are invited to join the cause. One of the goals of this meeting is to enlist current YMCA members as well as citizen volunteers who have an active interest in supporting the BARC.
“The YMCA is proud to lead the efforts in Boerne for a new aquatic and recreation center that will be a cornerstone of water safety, drowning prevention, fitness and community wellness for all members of our growing community,” said 2020 Boerne YMCA Board Chairman Bill Strain.
For more information about the Y Town Hall Meeting, call Executive Director Paul Giguere, Boerne YMCA Executive Director at 830-815-1040 or by email at [email protected].
