At Geneva, we love reading and we celebrate reading! Last week, Grammar students received medals for their summer reading accomplishments. Collectively, grades Kinder-Prep through 5th grade read 341,519 pages. Way to go Grammar School!

During in-service, neurosurgeon Dr. Lee Warren came to speak with our faculty about the “Life Changing Art of Self Brain Surgery,” the title of his New York Times Best-selling book. As a Christ follower and brain surgeon, Dr. Warren paired practical neuroscience with Scripture to offer compelling insights into the mind’s ability to heal and architect the brain. His personal research and experience provided encouragement as we start off a school year ministering to students as they encounter the challenges of a classical education.

Anxiety and depression are rising in young adults and adolescents.

Geneva School of Boerne is offering a FREE weekend seminar on Oct 2-3rd with Keith McCurdy.

Come learn real world practices for building “Sturdy Kids” that will thrive through adversity. Keith A. McCurdy, MA, EdS will provide you with simple truths for building a strong family and capable kids. This FREE seminar will be on Friday, October 2 from 6:00-8:00pm and continued Saturday, October 3 from 8:00am-12:00pm and is open to Geneva families and friends. Drinks and light snacks will be provided.

We welcome Keith McCurdy to Geneva School of Boerne for a parenting workshop where he will follow up on his introduction to “Building Sturdy Kids.”

Geneva Senior Mason Sutton was appointed to the United States Military Academy West Point. Brigadier General Jonathan Craig Taylor presented the appointment at Geneva’s End of Year Assembly. Congrats Mason! We are so proud of you and your service to our country!

Geneva Orchestra Director Sarah Gachupin was named the TAPPS 4A 2025-26 Fine Art Director of the Year! Congrats Mrs. Gachupin! We're so proud of you!

Geneva has been awarded the 2025-26 Henderson Cup and recognized as the top school in the TAPPS 4A classification for the fifth time and has earned this honor 12 times since 2010. The Henderson Cup is awarded to each school in the six classifications that scores the most points during the year in competitive academic, athletic and fine arts events sponsored by TAPPS. Way to go Eagles!

Geneva seniors were honored at Commencement Exercises at University Methodist Church. This year’s class of 39 seniors is Geneva’s 16th graduating class! Congrats to all our graduates!

Geneva teachers Chris Carraway, Susan Greenlees and Tony Moninski were awarded the 2026 Philip and Barbara Green Scholarship for Faculty Enrichment by Head of School Leslie Moeller. Each teacher chose a trip that will further their professional growth and impact the learning experience of their students. Mrs. Carraway will travel to Egypt, Mr. Moninski will travel to Greece and Mrs. Greenlees will travel to Oxford, England and Italy.
