JK Inspired’s goal is to balance natural and anatomic forces within and between horse and rider. Each horse is seen as an individual with specific needs.

With a vision to train and ride horses in accordance with sound equine biomechanical principles, Jillian Kreinbring created JK Inspired to help you learn to support each horse that you encounter on an individual level. The goal is to support them to achieve their highest and best, while applying research methods to document the work. Jillian’s vision is to train and ride horses in accordance with

I am deeply honored to be invited to speak at the 25th Anniversary Congress of The Vluggen Institute for Equine Osteopathy & Education May 30-31 at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida.

To be included among such an extraordinary group of educators, osteopaths, researchers, and equestrians is something I do not take lightly. Opportunities to continue learning, sharing ideas, and engaging in thoughtful conversation in service of the horse are privileges I am always grateful for.

I’ll be presenting on “Integrative Movement for the Osteopath,” exploring the relationship between movement, posture, functional anatomy, biomechanics, and the nervous system, and how these pieces influence the health and development of the horse.

A sincere thank you to Janek Vluggen and the Vluggen Institute for the invitation and for creating an event that celebrates 25 years of educational excellence, mentorship, and growth.

Looking forward to Ocala, meaningful conversations, and time spent with people dedicated to the betterment of horses.

This Memorial Day weekend feels like a good reminder to slow down and appreciate what matters most… time with good people, good horses, good coffee and opportunities to keep learning.

We’re excited to welcome Rodolfo Lara and spend time observing, asking questions, and growing together as horsemen and horsewomen. Some of the best lessons go beyond technique…

The word in the arena today is Believe.

Believe in the journey. Believe in growth. Believe in yourself. Believe every horse still has something to teach us.

Looking forward to sharing this experience with everyone.

Some offices have walls. Mine has hoofprints.

This morning I’m grateful for a rocking chair, a good cup of coffee, and the best office I could ever ask for. The arena has a way of reminding me that life with horses rarely asks for perfection…just presence…allow that to settle.

One of the more difficult lines to walk with our horses is understanding the difference between empathy and enabling.

I think sometimes, in our desire to be kind, we unintentionally avoid teaching horses the very life skills, which help them become safer, more confident, and better able to navigate life with humans.

From both a learning and nervous system perspective, confidence is not built through complete avoidance of pressure or challenge. Confidence develops when horses learn they can move through appropriate moments of uncertainty and return to physical and mental safely. A teacher once told me it’s important to lovingly see horses through to the other side of their trouble.

That does not mean force.
It does not mean over stimulation.
And it certainly does not mean punishment.

It means learning how to educate with physical and emotional feel of the horse with clarity and fairness.

To me, empathy says:
“I see what you’re feeling, and I’ll adjust how I teach.”

Enabling says:
“I won’t help you through discomfort because discomfort itself feels hard to witness.”

There is a difference.

Having a big heart for horses should never exclude education, boundaries, or responsibility….thoughtful education is part of compassion itself.

Kindness that avoids learning may feel gentle in the moment.
But kindness that teaches creates long-term safety and authentic relationships.

JK Inspired 2026 Event Updates!
Moving into May, we continue preparing for a year centered around presence, precision, and purposeful study.

Hello everyone—Jillian here.
In 2026, our focus remains on how movement is organized, how the nervous system learns alongside Dr. Steve Peters, and why clarity through healthy movement will always outperform force or speed.

These live educational events are designed for those willing to slow down, observe more carefully, and refine the quality of their feel and communication with the horse.

Together, we’ll explore applied equine neuroscience, functional anatomy, movement organization, and practical horsemanship through immersive, hands-on learning experiences that place the horse’s well-being first at Colorado State University, hosted by the CSU Equine Science Department, and Averett University in Virginia, hosted by the North Carolina Dressage and Combined Training Association.

Whether you are a professional, trainer, educator, student, or dedicated horse owner, these courses are intended to encourage thoughtful observation, meaningful conversation, and practical application you can bring home to your everyday work.

Please visit the website for full course outlines and event details.

For registration, pricing, and hosting facility information, please contact each hosting organization directly.

We look forward to studying with you throughout 2026.

What is Vaquero Style Horsemanship?
The horsemanship of the California vaquero. This style of horsemanship originated in early California in a mild climate and an unhurried lifestyle. This environment allowed the vaquero to hone his horsemanship skills to a level of refinement. The vaqueros took great pride in their horses, as well as their skills as horseman and vaqueros. The word vaquero simply means cowboy.

The vaquero style uses finesse, not force. It uses signal, not pressure. The rider must possess knowledge of the way in which his horse thinks, and how he responds to different stimuli. He must also know the biomechanics of his horse. The importance of timing and balance. Vaquero style horsemanship requires discipline and dedication of the rider and dedication to the horse.

Pippa welcomes all breeds, backgrounds and levels as part of her commitment that dressage is for the good of the horse, and not the inverse. She enjoys identifying the strengths and weaknesses of each pair, and recommending the priorities for the short and long term. Her teaching style incorporates memorable visual metaphors that aim to change old patterns. Her passion is to analyze and explain in a way that seeks simplicity, which is a creative process that brings joy and lightness to the work. Ultimately, her goal is to empower riders with autonomous, thoughtful partnerships with their horses, based on an a foundation of understanding and clarity. She leaves students with an approach and tools they understand. Clinics typically include private riding sessions, in-hand work, ground work, theory sessions and unmounted seat studies.

Some of the best mornings are not the loud ones.

They are the quiet moments where we gather ourselves, sharpen our purpose, and begin again. One step at a time.

~ JK Inspired

05/04/2026

There are days… like today… when being still forces reflection.

In that quiet, I find myself missing a time that felt simpler. Not because it was perfect, but because it was quieter. The kind of quiet where learning came through feel… through time… through presence… not through a Constant stream of opinions, advice, and noise.

The horse world today is rich with information. Endlessly accessible. Instantly delivered. And while that is a gift in so many ways, it also asks something difficult of us… discernment.

It is a delicate line to walk… to grow, to learn, to run a business, to stay engaged… and yet not lose the quiet moments that matter most. The moments where nothing is being consumed, proven, or posted. Just felt.

Because the truth is… our horses have never needed the noise.

And sometimes I wonder if the real work isn’t just in learning more… but in learning what to let go of. How to step forward in a world that moves quickly… without losing the parts of ourselves that move slowly.

I don’t have the answer for balance. I’m not sure any of us truly do. But I do know this…
There is something deeply honest about longing for a slower rhythm and a sense of simplicity. There is something worth protecting in that feeling.

So maybe the goal isn’t to escape this fast-paced world…but to learn how to carry stillness within it…this stillness I observe in my herd of horses. To remain grounded… when everything else feels rushed in our humaness.

Because perhaps some of us were never meant to move quickly or to spin several plates…maybe that’s not something to fix…but something to honor.

04/30/2026

Start the day slow. Listen more than you ask. Horses have a way of meeting you exactly where gratitude begins.
