Our team enjoyed learning alongside education leaders from across Texas and sharing how Boerne ISD’s Community Leadership Academy moves beyond traditional outreach to create meaningful, transparent connections with residents and business leaders.

Throwing it back to last year's Kinder Jumpstart! It's hard to believe these kiddos were just getting ready for kindergarten, and now they're headed to 1st grade. Time flies! We're so proud of how much they've grown this year. 📚❤️

🎉 Congratulations to Boerne ISD Superintendent Dr. Kristin Craft!

Dr. Craft has been named a 2026 Women’s Leadership Award winner by the San Antonio Business Journal. This prestigious recognition honors women leaders across the San Antonio region who are leading, innovating and giving back to their communities.

Dr. Craft was selected as one of only 25 honorees from nearly 100 nominations, joining an outstanding group of leaders from across a variety of industries. We are proud to celebrate Dr. Craft’s leadership, vision and dedication to the students, staff, families and community of Boerne ISD.

Boerne ISD is proud to recognize Board of Trustees member Rich Sena for representing our district during a recent Texas House Public Education Committee hearing.

Mr. Sena was invited to provide testimony as state leaders discussed important issues impacting public schools, including HB 2 implementation, school finance, teacher recruitment and retention, and investments in special education.

During his testimony, Mr. Sena shared a local perspective on the importance of supporting teachers, strengthening public schools and ensuring districts have the stable funding needed to serve students, staff and families well.

We are grateful for Mr. Sena’s leadership, service and continued advocacy for Boerne ISD and public education in Texas.

Continuing to celebrate our thirty-six Boerne ISD students recognized at Northwest Vista College's first Dual Credit Commencement Ceremony! We are so proud of all you have accomplished.

NVC Celebrated Its First Dual Credit Commencement | Alamo Colleges The ceremony recognized high school students who had completed college credentials, including associate degrees and workforce certificates, before receiving their high school diplomas.

We hope everyone has had a great first week of summer!

While summer is just getting started, our teachers are already hard at work planning for the upcoming school year.

This week, 381 BISD teachers gathered at Boerne U to connect, collaborate, and plan for the year ahead. Thank you to our educators for their dedication and commitment to excellence!

BHS Ceremony Update (5:00pm)

BHS Families,

We continue to monitor the weather.

In the case of inclement weather, the graduation ceremony may be delayed until storms pass.

In the event weather impacts the ceremony, we will prioritize calling the graduates’ names and handing students their diplomas over other parts of the ceremony.
Student speeches have been recorded in advance. We will share the speeches at a later date.

REMINDER
Ceremony will begin at 7:00PM
Gates open at 6:00PM
Students report at 6:00PM to the BHS Auditorium

The district will provide updates via ParentSquare, Boerne ISD’s page, and our district website, BoerneISD.net.
