🌟 I am bursting with pride for Elizabeth Leachman! Over the past 3+ years, it has been an honor to work with her both on and off the track. Witnessing her growth and dedication has been an incredible journey.

Last night marked one of the highlights of my coaching career. Watching a 16-year-old compete among some of the world's best athletes was simply awe-inspiring. Elizabeth's strength and grit are undeniable, and they've shown me that her future in American distance running is incredibly bright.

She embodies the essence of a small-town hero - a hard worker, outstanding student, and the epitome of resilience and perseverance. We should all be immensely proud of her accomplishments and the journey she continues to embark on. Here's to many more successes ahead, Elizabeth! 🏃‍♀️💪

After four delightful years of inspiring young culinary enthusiasts, The Cooking Castle bids farewell to its kids' cooking camps and classes. Chef Julie, the heart and soul behind this culinary haven, has decided to embark on new adventures, redirecting her passion towards the flourishing ventures of BeLocal NW and Hill Country. As she continues to expand her culinary empire, with BeLocal Comal County on the horizon, Chef Julie expresses gratitude to all the aspiring chefs and their families who made The Cooking Castle a cherished culinary destination. Though it's goodbye for now, the memories and skills gained within the castle's walls will forever linger as a flavorful reminder of the joyous times shared in the kitchen.
