πβ¨This week, the Roots and Wings team had the joy of spending time with students in second grade for Delray Reads! We dove into the adventures of "Mercy Watson Goes for a Ride," and the students brought their energy and curiosity to our time together.
The excitement didn't stop when we closed the book⦠To keep the fun going, every student received their very own book and a summer learning packet to take home. Watching their faces light up as they held their new books reminded us of the joy of reading. We love knowing that these students will enjoy the adventures on the pages!
A massive thank you to the wonderful second-grade teachers and staff at Plumosa School of the Arts for their warm welcome. We loved every minute of reading, laughing, and connecting with your incredible students!
