Last week, our Lower School celebrated the very first National Silent E Day! ✨

Created by one of our very own Grandview parents, National Silent E Day gave our students a fun way to explore the magic of the letter E and the way it can change a word without making a sound.

From classroom activities to plenty of Silent E spirit, our students had a wonderful time learning, playing with words, and celebrating this special day together!

We’re proud to see an idea make its way into classrooms and become part of a national celebration.

How should be used in schools? It's a question educators, parents and students are navigating in real time.

From Grandview Prep to an international stage... 🎹🌎

Our 5th grader Victoria Q. earned first place in an international piano competition, earning her a spot among just 18 young pianists from around the world selected to perform.

This week marked our first Connect Day of the year!
🧡💚💜💛
Once a month, our Lower School students meet with their Middle and Upper School buddies to spend time together, build friendships, and create connections that grow throughout the year.

Led by our Upper School Student Government Association (SGA), Connect Day gives students across Grandview the chance to learn from one another. Older students get to lead, encourage, and be someone their buddy can look up to, while younger students gain a familiar face and a new friend in the halls.

Because learning begins with belonging.
