It has been a standout year for the TEDx and TED-Ed programs at Saint Andrew’s School, highlighted by impressive student achievements on the global stage.
Mila Rojas ’33 was invited to present her TEDxSaintAndrewsSchool talk, “Why Everyone Needs to Play!”, at Play@TED in New York City, where her message about reconnecting through play resonated with audiences from around the world. Additionally, Merritt Kanzer ’28 earned a global scholarship to attend the TED Summer School after being selected as one of the top entries in TED’s international “Learning to Be Heard” competition.
Adding to the excitement, the playlist from the 9th Annual TEDxSaintAndrewsSchool is now live, showcasing this year’s inspiring lineup of student speakers. These accomplishments reflect the continued success of Saint Andrew’s public speaking programs, empowering students to share their ideas with confidence, purpose, and global impact.

Saint Andrew’s School was honored to host the “Next-Gen Leadership Summit: Lead With Integrity,” welcoming nearly 100 middle and high school students from across Palm Beach County for a day of mentorship, leadership, and networking.
Chaired by Judge Cymonie S. Rowe ’87, the summit featured an inspiring opening address from Head of School Ethan Shapiro and was supported by Saint Andrew’s staff members Benjamin Anthony and Nicole Tropeano on the planning committee.

Five Saint Andrew’s students traveled to Columbus, Ohio, over Memorial Day weekend to compete in the National Championships of the Great History Challenge, a fast-paced academic competition for middle school students passionate about history.
Competing against students from across the country, two Scots advanced to the playoff rounds as Great History Challenge finalists. We are incredibly proud of the curiosity, determination, and sportsmanship our students demonstrated while representing Saint Andrew’s on the national stage. Honor Above All!

The Class of 2026 will attend 84 colleges and universities, 47 of which are different from the institutions attended by the Class of 2025.
59% of the class was admitted to a Top 50 institution in the Best National Universities and Best National Liberal Arts Colleges categories of the U.S. News & World Report rankings.

Saint Andrew’s Girls Lacrosse captain Olivia Meehan ’26 has been named the Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Year Co-Runner-Up, earning a $10,000 scholarship.
A dominant force on the field, Olivia helped lead the Scots to a top-5 state ranking this season while posting an incredible 84% draw win rate. Recognized as one of Florida’s top midfielders, this achievement comes just weeks after being named the Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week.
Congratulations, Olivia! Your hard work, leadership, and dedication continue to make the Scots proud. Go Scots!
