Finalists will perform as soloists with the Lynn Philharmonia under the baton of Maestro Gerald Karni. The Awards Ceremony will follow immediately after the final performance.

One of our favorite parts of the competition is the learning that happens beyond the stage. Here’s juror Chris Martin sharing his artistry and insight during a masterclass. Moments like these remind us why community and education sit at the heart of this event.

Finalists take the stage in their final appearance in front of the jury, performing as soloists with the Lynn Philharmonia under the baton of Gerald Karni.

The evening concludes with the Awards Ceremony, where the 2026 competition winners will be announced.

Special recital featuring Robert Sullivan, judge of the 2026 Roger Voisin Memorial Trumpet Competition, live at Lynn University.

Professor of Trumpet at the University of Michigan and former Principal Trumpet of the Cincinnati Symphony and Pops Orchestras, Robert Sullivan brings decades of orchestral excellence, solo artistry, and pedagogy to the stage. His career includes tenured positions with the New York Philharmonic and The Cleveland Orchestra, along with premieres of works by John Williams, John Adams, and more.

Join us at Lynn University for a live performance by Caleb Hudson, one of today’s most versatile and compelling trumpet artists.

Praised by The New York Times as “brilliantly stylish,” Caleb Hudson was a longtime member of the Canadian Brass, an acclaimed soloist, composer, and arranger, and Associate Professor of Trumpet at the University of Texas at Austin. A Juilliard-trained

musician, he is especially celebrated for his performances of Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 on both modern and baroque trumpet.

His debut solo album Nothing Less reflects his commitment to new repertoire and collaborative artistry.
