Scholar Spotlight: Marcklen 🎥🐍

Viner Scholar Marcklen, a first-generation Haitian American student at Florida A&M University, recently shared his story on The College Tour!

Marcklen spotlighted the departments, opportunities, and experiences that have shaped his journey at FAMU while filming at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. His time at the #1 public HBCU has been, in his words, an answered prayer, and he represents the university with pride.

We couldn't be prouder of Marcklen for sharing his story and inspiring future students.

Even astronauts had to push through midterms. 🚀

The Artemis II crew will tell you: college wasn't always easy for them either. Late nights, tough classes, and moments of doubt were part of the journey on the way to the Moon.

If midterms feel heavy right now, that's not a sign you don't belong. It's part of the climb. Keep showing up, keep asking for help, and keep going. You're building something bigger than one exam.

Watch their words of encouragement below. 👇

🌟 Viner Scholar Spotlight: Shaida

This summer, Viner Scholar Shaida stepped up as an Orientation Leader at Florida Atlantic University, helping welcome the next class of Owls to campus!

From leading campus tours to answering questions from nervous new students and their families, Shaida made sure incoming Owls felt right at home from day one.

Along the way, she sharpened her leadership, communication, and mentoring skills, all while connecting with students from every walk of life. Proud to see our Viner Scholars making an impact and leading with heart.

Congrats, Shaida, and thank you for representing the Viner Scholars program so well! 🦉💙

Last night we had a great time at the Palm Beach County School District College and Career Fair! It was a wonderful opportunity to meet students and families interested in learning more about our program, and we hope to see many of you apply.

A big thank you to Viner Scholar KC for volunteering her time to help staff our table. We appreciate your support!

Our Viner Scholars are beating the odds.

Nationally, only about 6 in 10 college students graduate within six years, and fewer than half finish in four. Viner Scholars? Over 95% graduate, and nearly all of them do it in four years or less.

We don't think that's an accident. It's the result of wrap-around support that meets students where they are:

💰 Financial support that removes the barriers that derail so many students before they ever hit the classroom

🤝 Mentorship that keeps students on track, connected, and accountable

🌍 Community that reminds every scholar they're not doing this alone

When you invest in the whole student, not just the tuition check, this is what's possible.
