Fusion Academy in Boca Raton, FL opened in 2018 as Fusion’s 46th campus nationwide. Fusion Boca Raton is a private school where classes are one-to-one: one student and one teacher per classroom. Our Teacher/Mentors can personalize curriculum and pacing for their students’ strengths, interests, and learning style. Students may attend full-time for middle and high school or part-time with classes for credit, tutoring and mentoring, post-secondary counseling, and more. We offer rolling enrollment so students can start at any point, even mid-semester or mid-year.

Each year, student leaders from across Fusion Academy are selected to serve on the Fusion Board of Student Leaders. This unique leadership experience empowers students to grow their skills, represent their campuses, and make a meaningful impact on the Fusion community. Through a dedicated leadership curriculum, active engagement on campus and beyond, and opportunities to provide feedback that shapes the student experience, board members develop the confidence, connection, and purpose needed to lead effectively.

Earlier this month, our Boca Raton campus teamed up with the Global Empowerment Mission to organize a Natural Disaster Relief Donation drive. The drive aimed to support individuals and families in Colombia, Venezuela, and Nepal who were affected by recent natural disasters. We're grateful to everyone who contributed to this meaningful cause.

In conventional schools, motivation often comes from external pressure — grades, competition, fear. But that kind of motivation is fragile. It exhausts students. 🥺

Real motivation comes from something else: knowing you have support. Knowing you can ask for help without judgment. Knowing someone is paying attention to whether you're actually succeeding.

When a student feels that, they stop pushing through obstacles and start solving them. And focus becomes possible.

When a student struggles in traditional school, the blame usually falls on the student. Lazy. Unmotivated. Not trying hard enough. 😵‍💫

But what if the problem isn't the student? What if it's that the system was never designed for how they learn? One lesson, one pace, 30 kids — that's efficient. But it's not effective for every learner.

For 11 years at Barnstable Academy, Jeff has been doing something rare: he's built a classroom where curiosity is contagious. Students leave his STEM classes still buzzing about experiments and discoveries.

But Jeff's impact ripples far beyond his classroom. He opens his door to colleagues. Leads professional development. Mentors teachers. Organizes the school events. And after the bell rings? He's hosting game nights, building community.
