This topic starts arguments every time.

Some people say carrying without one in the chamber is safer. Others say it may cost you precious time when seconds matter. The truth is this: your decision should be based on training, equipment, confidence, and realistic self-defense conditions ,not ego.

If you carry chambered, you need a quality holster that fully covers the trigger, consistent safe handling, and real practice drawing safely. If you do not carry chambered, you need to understand the time and physical limitations of chambering under stress, especially if one hand is injured or occupied.

There is no room for pretending. Your carry method must match your training level.

Chambered or unchambered and why?

Most people carrying in Florida are confident…

Until one bad decision turns self-defense into handcuffs.

Carrying a fi***rm is not just about owning one.
It is about knowing:

When you can use it.
When you can’t.
What to say after an incident.
What NOT to do in public.
And how to avoid becoming the person who “thought they knew the law.”

Florida may allow permitless carry, but permitless does not mean clueless.

If you carry, plan to carry, or keep a fi***rm for protection, take the Florida Carry Course before you learn the hard way.

Train your mind before your holster.

Go to Floridacarrylaw.com and take the course.
