Opened in 1964, Florida Atlantic University serves more than 28,000 students across seven beautiful campuses in Southern Florida. Our 14th annual School of Accounting Kickoff was a success! Last week, over 150 of our top-performing accounting and tax students spent a full day networking and interviewing with some of the biggest and best firms nationally and worldwide including Deloitte, EY, BDO, Baker Tilly, and CohnReznick.

Each year, the College of Business Career Development Team pre-selects FAUs top-tier Accounting and Tax students to participate in this exclusive "speed dating" event. Firm recruiters are stationed in classrooms where an intimate group of students rotate in 20-minute intervals for informal interviews and individual discussions.

The first tailgate of the season was one to remember (and not just because Dean Gropper joined the band in song)! 🦉🏈

FAU’s College of Business hosted the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association & Foundation (USNAAA) Palm Beach Chapter at the Sean Stein Pavilion for their Navy vs FAU tailgate. Over 400 attendees joined the fun, with speeches from our very own Dean Gropper and Provost Dawson-Scully, along with USNAAA PBC Chapter President Rick Salvadore and Superintendent Lieutenant General Borgschulte. Florida Atlantic's First Lady Jillian Hasner was also in attendance.

All tailgate and game ticket proceeds were donated to the USNAAA Palm Beach Chapter, Inc.

We were honored to host Navy, especially on the 25th anniversary of 9/11, and express our gratitude to all who serve and protect our nation.

Florida Atlantic University's fourth annual Giving Day is almost here! Join us on Thursday, September 17th for a 24-hour celebration of philanthropy that brings together all alumni, students, faculty, staff, families, and friends in support of all the people and programs that help FAU thrive.

Through study abroad programs, case competitions, entrepreneurship initiatives, research opportunities, and more, the College of Business supports over 9,000 students in achieving their dreams.
