🎙️ A Special First at GSA — Our First Student-Led Khutbah!

Mā shā’ Allāh! Today marked a beautiful milestone at Garden of the Sahaba Academy as one of our 8th-grade students stepped onto the minbar and delivered GSA’s first student-led Friday khutbah. 🕌

At GSA, Islamic education is about more than what students learn in the classroom. It is about developing the confidence, character, knowledge, and leadership to carry Islam with them and positively impact the communities around them.

Seeing one of our young students stand before his peers, remind them of Allah ﷻ, and take on the responsibility of delivering a khutbah is exactly the kind of growth we pray to nurture.

May Allah ﷻ bless him, increase him in knowledge and sincerity, and make him—and all of our students—among those who learn the Qur’an and Sunnah, live by them, and inspire others through them. Āmīn. 🤲
