Food Truck Wars 2023!! Senior level 4 hospitality class had a successful end of the quarter project where they designed their own food truck concept. They branded it with a logo, design, banner, menu, and samplings!
All the hard work paid off and it was a successful event with some admin, guidance counselors, and select culinary/engineering class helping judge the event. Congrats to our Poke Street concept for placing 1st, Break N’ Fast 2nd place, and YBG Juice 3rd place! Overall, all 7 groups did a fantastic job planning and executing this event.

10 of our Hospitality SENIORSSS passed their Entrepreneurship & Small Business V2. certification today! Congratulations on passing!! 🍍🦁

Proud of my first class (period 5) for reaching a true 100% DECA membership!! Every single one of these students enrolled are DECA members and can’t wait to bring home some glass back to OH!!! We celebrated this milestone with pizza yesterday 🍕🔷 They are also my largest class in the academy, way to go!!! 🙌💙 In class we have been looking at DECA case studies, scenerios, roleplays in class that directly correlates with our class curriculum! .deca

February 17: Hospitality Academy & JROTC teamed up and invited Chick-Fil-A into our classroom to share some recruitment/hiring/development tips with the students. They also offered to host mock interviews so students could get some hands-on practice to real interviews. Students learned about applying for their first jobs, interviewing do’s and don’ts, and overall what they look for in an employee. They also shared with us some amazing benefits for working for Chick-Fil-A, including some scholarship opportunities, food discounts, and more!
