✨ A look at some of the hands-on learning happening at Elite Tutoring Specialists and Homeschool this past week!

🥞 **Cooking Class:** Students made French crêpes from scratch and topped them with Nutella, strawberries, bananas, and homemade whipped cream. A delicious way to practice cooking skills, following directions, measuring, and teamwork!

🦴 **Paleontology & Science:** As part of our paleontology unit, students created their own fossils and then got to dig them out! This hands-on science activity helped them see how fossil imprints are formed and gave them a fun way to connect what they’ve been learning to a real-world experience.

🏛️ **Ancient Greece:** We brought history to life with a Greek food tasting! Students sampled different Greek foods while learning about Ancient Greece, giving them a chance to experience a little bit of the culture alongside their history lessons.

We love incorporating hands-on activities into our homeschool program to make learning engaging, memorable, and fun! ❤️

🏆🥋 STATEWIDE CHAMPION! 🥋🏆
We are so proud of our homeschool student, Tobias, who competed this weekend in the Gracie Barra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Statewide Competition!

Tobias brought home 1st Place Gold 🥇 in both the Gi and No-Gi divisions for his age and weight class! With two gold-medal finishes, he earned the title of Top Fighter in Florida for his division! 🇺🇸🔥

His hard work, discipline, determination, and commitment to excellence truly paid off. We couldn’t be more proud of Tobias and all he has accomplished!

Congratulations, Tobias! Keep training, keep growing, and keep chasing those goals! 💪🥋🏆

🍳 Cooking Class has been such a fun addition this year! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our students have been getting hands-on in the kitchen, learning how to follow recipes, measure ingredients, work together, and—of course—enjoy what they make! So far, they've made pancakes, homemade grilled cheese and tomato soup, and tacos. 🌮🥞🍅

We love adding practical life skills into the school day, especially when they're this delicious! 😋 Can't wait to see what they cook up next! ❤️

🌱🎨 What a fantastic week at camp!

This week was all about planting and painting as our campers explored their creativity and connected with nature. From planting flowers and learning about gardening to creating colorful masterpieces, every day was filled with hands-on fun, learning, and plenty of smiles.

We loved watching our campers grow their skills, express themselves, and make wonderful memories together. Thank you for another amazing week—we can't wait to see what adventures next week brings!

Today our students enjoyed hands-on learning in the kitchen, practicing basic cooking skills, following instructions, and working together as a team. Activities like this help build independence, confidence, and real-life skills in a fun and engaging way.
