Boca-Delray Lodge N. 171 - Free and Accepted Masons

07/04/2026

On July 4, 1776, the Second Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence. Several key architects of the American Revolution were Freemasons, including Benjamin Franklin (a Past Grand Master of Pennsylvania) and John Hancock (President of the Continental Congress), who used their Masonic values of liberty, equality, and self-governance to help shape the nation's foundational ideals. By adopting the Declaration of Independence, it severed the ties between the 13 American Colonies’ political ties to Great Britain. July 4th marks the day that the final wording of the document was approved.

📜 Good morning, Brethren of Boca-Delray Lodge No. 171, F∴ & A∴M∴ of Florida,

🌞 Happy New Year and Happy Thursday, Brethren!

As we welcome this new year, we pause with grateful hearts to reflect upon the many blessings of the year now past and to look forward with hope, purpose, and renewed dedication to the year ahead.

The turning of the calendar reminds us that every new year is a new beginning — an opportunity to strengthen our Brotherhood, to labor more diligently in the quarry, and to walk ever closer in the Light. Together, we have shared fellowship, friendship, challenges, and achievements that have united us more closely as Brethren.

May this new year bring renewed strength to our Lodge, harmony among our members, and continued growth in wisdom, compassion, and service. Let us recommit ourselves to the timeless principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth, carrying them not only within the walls of our Lodge, but into our homes, our communities, and the world at large.

As we move forward, may we continue to support one another as Brothers, to uplift those in need, and to set an example worthy of our ancient and honorable Craft. Let this be a year marked by unity, meaningful labor, and opportunities to serve with humility and purpose.

May the Great Architect of the Universe guide our steps, bless our families, grant us health and peace, and illuminate our path throughout the year ahead.

On behalf of Boca-Delray Lodge No. 171, we wish you and your loved ones a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year.

✨ May 2026 be a year filled with Light, Harmony, and Masonic Fellowship.
