The Cultivating Resilient and Experienced Artists Through Training and Education (CREATE) program has had a successful inaugural summer! In its first year, CREATE is helping build Broward County’s vibrant and creative artistic community by providing high school students with a unique opportunity to develop their skills, gain professional experience, and prepare for the next stage of their careers as artists—all at no cost.
The program launched with a summer camp held July 20–24, 2026, and will continue throughout the school year. During the camp, students participated in college campus experiences, museum and performing arts tours, career exploration activities, resume-building sessions, and artist workshops designed to support their growth as emerging professionals.
This FREE program is made possible through the generosity of local philanthropists who play a vital role in the program's success and community engagement.
A special thank you to Program Coordinator Claire Clum and Assistant Program Coordinator Jacquelene Lieberman for creating an unforgettable experience for the students and helping bring CREATE to life.
