178,600 students registered for August SAT and are unable to take test Of 402,000 who registered to take SATs in August, 178,600 are blocked from taking the test because testing centers are closed or limited in capacity.

Fall enrollment at public universities including numbers from UF:
Public research universities and some regional state colleges had decent admissions years There's no more talk of 20 percent declines in enrollment. At regional public universities, the picture is more mixed but still better than a few months ago.
