Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the SRCS community pauses to remember the lives lost, the families forever impacted, and the courage and sacrifice of so many.

During Chapel, our students joined together in prayer—not only remembering the events of that day, but thanking God for the freedoms we have today, including the precious freedom to gather together and worship Him.

As we remember September 11, we invite our SRCS families to join us in praying the prayer shared during Chapel:

“Heavenly Father, we pray for the people and the families whose lives were impacted by the 9/11 attacks 25 years ago. We lift them up, Lord, and we pray for comfort and peace during this time.

We also pray for our country, Lord, that You would continue to protect it and watch over it. We are thankful for the freedoms and liberties that we have, and for the freedom to gather and freely worship You. It is a great and amazing privilege, God, and we thank You for that.

We pray that You would continue to bless us and our country and that You would protect it. We ask that You bring comfort to everyone as we remember the events of 9/11. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Today, we remember. We pray. And we thank God for His continued faithfulness. 🇺🇸

We are so proud of our little ones. Every new sound, new skill, and little milestone is a big deal at SRCS, and we love celebrating right along with them.

So thankful to God for these sweet moments and the joy of watching them grow. ✨
