SUMMER EXPLORATIONS

OUR STUDENTS are preparing to return to school after fun learning summer activities that they will record in their AHA Summer Journals.

AHA is a private online K12 STEAM school where we have highly qualified live instructors for all classes. We partner with parents and actively help students develop skills that support a well rounded education.

Moreover, we teach core content and an array of electives such as Piano, Violin, Guitar, Coding and Robotics.

AT ACHIEVEMENT HEIGHTS ACADEMY, we have had success in teaching romance languages — Spanish, French and Italian to students in Grades 4-12. They not only converse in these languages freely, they also read them fluently.

So we are excited to offer a content appropriate similar course to students in Grades 1-3. We offered short workshops throughout the year and the students loved it!

Achievement Heights Academy - AHA

Teaching personal finance in schools has a long-term positive effect on students’ financial literacy and economic behavior.

Furthermore, a full and honest financial curriculum can foster critical thinking and an understanding of the foundational causes of economic disparities based on race and gender.

Hence, at AHA, we are expanding our K12 Financial Literacy program to include a grade appropriate curriculum in

Investments and Entrepreneurship.

This approach is sure to enhance the position of our students as 21st century learners with a keen understanding of investments and entrepreneurship.

AT AHA, our students have summer journals to record learning activities. We also have a family summer field trip. Together, these summer activities help prevent summer slide, learning loss.

SUMMER — Continue Learning!

Achievement Heights Academy — AHA

CAMPING is an excellent opportunity for families to enjoy the summer. We recently went camping in the Catskills Mountains. There was so much to enjoy — the trees, flowers, animals, rivers/water falls, the vistas, star gazing, cooking outdoors… We even saw black bears!

CAMPING is also a fun way for students to continue learning during the summer. At AHA, our students keep a Summer Journal and write about their various activities in a summer. This helps prevent summer slide or learning loss.
