Students in PYP 5 chose a topic from their HMH science books to create a DIY board game. Students worked in groups of 2-3 to curate their own game with their own rules from start to finish. Topics varied such as environment, matter, space, forces and motion, and the ocean. Students created a rule book, game pieces, question cards, and structures their own boards to match the theme of their games. The groups then had the opportunity to rotate, playing the games the other groups created all while learning new facts about new topics. Students used their IB skills of being creative, organized and open-minded.

Our NJHS officers visited Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital to donate $1,000 to support children battling cancer. This incredible amount was raised through different events hosted by our students. A huge thank you to all Boca Prep students, teachers, and families for your continued support and generosity in making a difference in our community!

Our M4 students had an exciting hands-on science experience as they dissected a rat to learn more about interior organs and body systems. This activity gave students the opportunity to explore anatomy up close while developing critical thinking and observation skills. Experiences like these help bring science to life and deepen students’ understanding of how living organisms function.

Congrats to Alexey on an incredible tennis journey, performing at a high level throughout both his elementary, middle and high school career. After spending a couple of years away from BPIS, Alexey made the decision to return in high school to take advantage of stronger academics and a more competitive tennis schedule, and it paid off. His hard work and dedication have earned him a spot at Emerson University, where he will continue both his academic and athletic career. We’re proud of everything he’s accomplished. Go Lions!
