In this creative geometry project, MYP 5 students designed their own cities while applying their knowledge of parallel and perpendicular lines, intersecting lines, and transversals. They identified and measured different types of angles, including acute, obtuse, right, vertical, corresponding, alternate interior, and supplementary angles. 🌎 Why choose IB?

IB is more than memorizing facts. It teaches students to think, question, research, and understand the world around them.

✨ Critical thinking
🌍 Global perspective
🧠 Independent learning
🗣️ Strong communication
📚 Learning that connects across subjects

The American curriculum offers flexibility, but IB takes a more global, inquiry-based approach to education.

For families looking to prepare children not just for college, but for a changing, connected world — IB is worth considering. 🌎🎓

Our Lower School students came together to learn more about Caring, one of the important attributes of the IB Learner Profile. Through meaningful conversations and examples, students explored what it means to show kindness, empathy, respect, and compassion toward others. 🌎✨ At Boca Prep, we believe that learning goes beyond the classroom, it’s also about helping our students become thoughtful, caring individuals who make a positive difference in their community and the world.

📚✨ Today in PYP 2, our students took a journey through time! They explored and read about different decades, including the 60s, 70s, 80s, and beyond. From fashion and music to important events, inventions, and everyday life, students discovered how much the world has changed over the years. 🌎⏳ It was a fun and engaging way to bring history to life while building their reading, research, and critical-thinking skills!
