Boaz High School: Education & Training/ FTA

Boaz High was one of the two schools in the state of Alabama to place NATIONALLY at the Educators Rising National Convention! There were six schools from Alabama that competed at the event.

These students have worked tirelessly throughout the year, and seeing their dedication recognized at the national level makes me incredibly proud. Their success is a testament to their hard work and the bright futures they have ahead of them.

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged and supported our program along the way. We can't wait to see what the future holds as we continue to grow and represent Boaz High on the national stage.

Members of AEA’s high school student program, Future Teachers of Alabama (FTA), attended the Educators Rising National Conference in Portland, Oregon, held June 19-23.

We are back home after competing at Nationals in Portland, Oregon! The students represented Boaz High School with character and class. It was an amazing experience!!
Congratulations to Maggie and Gracie for placing 3rd in the nation for K-3 Children's Literature!! 🏴‍☠️❤️
I am proud of each of my students who took the time and put the work in to compete!

Our BHS student authors and illustrators have created two children's books, which we are now offering for sale. The funds raised will support our trip to Nationals in Portland. ❤️ The students will compete with these books against students from all over the U.S. If you are interested in purchasing a book, please contact me.

This Thursday, April 30th, the BHS FTA invites you to a Spirit Night at Zaxby's in Boaz, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Enjoy dinner, a snack, or a treat and inform them of your support for the FTA. This event supports our trip to Nationals in Portland. ❤️
