The Workforce and Career Institute recently welcomed approximately 124 Boaz High School 9th-grade students for an exciting day of career exploration. Students participated in a Dual Enrollment information session, toured the five programs currently offered at the Career Institute, and gained valuable insight into future career pathways.

The experience also included a visit to the Snead State Aviation College, where students learned about opportunities in Aviation Maintenance and explored the growing field of aviation careers.

Take the next step in your aviation maintenance career with our Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification Prep Course. This accelerated course is designed to help eligible aviation maintenance technicians prepare for the FAA Airframe and Powerplant exams through focused instruction and exam preparation.

Everyone needs a little help sometimes, and that's what the Parson Pantry is here for. 💙

Snead State students can access FREE food, toiletries, school supplies, and even a free hot meal through the Rotary Plate program when needed. From ramen and granola bars to shampoo, laundry detergent, pens, notebooks, and more, we're here to support our students' success both inside and outside the classroom.

Want to help? Donations of pantry items, gift cards, and monetary contributions are welcome.

The Parson Pantry is located in the First Level of the McCain Student Center! Grab-and-Go stations are located on the Second Floor of McCain and in the Commons of the Story Administration Building!
