The Alabama Community College System (ACCS) and the Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association (AAMA) are offering $400,000 in scholarships for Alabama residents interested in pursuing careers in the state's automotive manufacturing industry.

Applications for the scholarships, which are capped at $4,000, are now open to students enrolled in an eligible program at an Alabama community college. The scholarships will cover tuition, books, and fees for the 2027 spring, summer, or fall semesters.

Eligible programs include the following: Mechatronics; Advanced Manufacturing Technology; Automated Manufacturing Technology; Industrial Electronics Technology; Industrial Maintenance Technology; Manufacturing Technology; Machining/Machine Tool/CNC; Automotive Service Technology; Robotic Welding Technology; and Engineering Technology.

To qualify, students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be enrolled in one of the listed programs. Dually enrolled high school students are not eligible.

Applications can be submitted online through the Dream It, Do It website at https://dreamitdoitalabama.com/aama/

The deadline to apply is Friday, October 30, 2026.

MARSHALL COUNTY MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION
📆 DEADLINE: April 1, 2026
ELIGIBILITY
📚 Award amount must be used for tuition and fees to attend an approved, accredited community college or skills training program for the 2026-2027 Academic Year.
📚 Applicants must enroll and remain in good standing in a technical curriculum and/or skills training program that could qualify them to be employed or advance in a manufacturing career.
📚New applicants must either be a high school senior within Marshall County, an employee of an MCMA member company, or a student in an accredited skills training program at Snead State
Community College or Marshall Technical School.
📚 The scholarship may be renewable for additional years, providing the recipient re-applies.
