Windy River Elementary

Windy River Elementary We are 164 miles east of Portland Oregon on Interstate 84. We now serve grades fourth, fifth and sixth grade classes.

Windy River Elementary School is located in Boardman, Oregon and part of the Morrow County School District **This page is for positive promotion of WRE and its students** The school sits a short distance off the historic Columbia River and a few miles north of the historic Oregon Trail. Windy River opened its doors for the first time in September of 2003 and housed fifth and sixth grade students.

Our enrollment average is 250 students with an average classroom size of 23. As a school community we realize the critical role that parents play in the development of their child. Here at Windy River we strive to communicate and find ways that parents and staff collaborate and work together. We look forward to serving you and helping your child “develop values, knowledge, skills and self-confidence to become life-long learners and responsible citizens”.

Registration for returning students will open Monday 8/17 at 8:00am. Parents/guardians please watch your email for the family specific registration link!.
New student registration (including kindergarten students) will begin on Wednesday 8/19. Families will have to begin the registration process by going into the specific school.

Students need a physical every 2 years.

Paperwork will be provided for parents/guardians to complete ahead of time, so they do not need to be present during the physical. Parents/guardians are welcome to come along with their student-athlete if they would like.
