Congrats to another successful New Hire training for Nucor Steel Arkansas. This group consisted of 14 participants. They have earned a first aid cpr credential, basic rigging qualification and forklift operator certification, along with skills in proper use of tools, LOTO safety and mechanical advantage. This is group number 47 since we have started the new hire training program with Nucor Steel Arkansas. Thank you for trusting our staff and wonderful instructors for advancing the knowledge of your new hires!

Instructors had virtual training today with our NEW transfr VR headsets; this will allow us to supplement training an credit course curriculum with a different avenue of simulation training. The instructors were able to change oil on an airplane, use a virtual table saw, go through interview prep, and learn micrometers an caliper reading.

Solutions Group, ANC Adult Education & NEACCC partnered to deliver 50 hours of professional skills training in MIG Welding. Participants earned certificate of completion and some earned an American Welding Society - Qualification. Our long-term partner Southworth spoke to the class to recruit them for potential employment.
