Here’s a glimpse of Tenaris Tuesday at the Tech Center! ⚙️

Our students had the opportunity to hear from the Tenaris team about the computer- and network-based systems used in their facilities and how technology plays a role in today’s industry.

Then it was time to put some important workplace skills into practice! Students participated in a hands-on communication and collaboration activity that challenged them to work together, problem-solve, and communicate as a team.

A huge thank you to Becky Brister, Tracey Ritchey, and Carson Moore from Tenaris for spending the day with our students and investing in their future. We appreciate our industry partners taking the time to bring real-world knowledge and experiences directly into the classroom!

Our Delta Prep Construction students are hard at work in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design, creating the blueprint for a project that will ultimately be built by our Welding students! 📐💻

Once the blueprints are complete, the Construction students will take their designs to the next level by creating a 3-D model and presenting their completed design to the Welding class.

From there, our Welding students will use the final plans to fabricate the structural project, taking it from an idea on paper to a finished product.

We love seeing our programs work together and giving students the opportunity to experience the entire process — from design and planning to modeling, presentation, fabrication, and completion.

Teamwork makes the dream work! 🛠️💙

ANCTC Welding students are off to a great start! 🔥 They’re already putting their skills to work while building teamwork through a group project. We love seeing our students learn to communicate, collaborate, and work together—skills that will serve them well both in the classroom and on the job. 🧑‍🏭👩‍🏭⚙️

Today, we welcomed students from Osceola High School to the Arkansas Northeastern College Technical Center for an inside look at our programs of study and the opportunities available through career and technical education.

One of the best parts? Students can begin taking these classes while still enrolled in high school, allowing them to gain hands-on experience, industry skills, and a head start on a high-demand career before graduation.

Recruitment is about more than enrollment - it’s about helping students discover their future. We are proud to partner with area schools to build pathways that connect students directly to workforce opportunities right here in our region.

Special thanks to Ted and Lana Smith of Frigortec for their generous donation of tool kits for our HVAC students as they prepare for the upcoming SkillsUSA competition. Opportunities like this make a lasting impact, and we are incredibly grateful for community partners who believe in and invest in our students’ success. Thank you for supporting the future of our workforce!

This week, ANCTC students had special visitors from the community in Mr. William Brown’s Construction class. We would like to give a special thanks to several members of our community who took time from their busy schedules to share their experiences in Construction Technology with our students.

🔷 Ray Waters Sr. from Hybar spoke to the students about safety.
🔷 Mighty Mike Lester and George Hubbard from KAMJ 93.9 broadcasted their morning show live from the ANCTC construction lab. Mighty Mike also spoke about the wonderful career and technical education programs available free of charge to high school students.
🔷 Nicole Eskin shared about the construction program from a parent’s perspective.

Thank you all for investing your time in our students. Your support means so much to us and to the future of our programs.
