Every registered voter eighteen years and older has the right to vote. The vote is our voice in stating what laws, measures, and policies we want for our city, county, state, and nation. Furthermore, the vote is an important tool we have to choose whom we want to be our elected representatives in government.
With your vote, you will be able to help determine which propositions become law or do not become law, With your vote, you will also help determine which people will be representing or not representing you in various government offices.
If you have not yet registered to vote, you still have time. The deadline to register to vote is October 24, 2022. The process is not difficult. After you are registered to vote, you will be able to make your desires concerning representatives and candidates for office known by voting.
There are some who feel their vote does not matter or does not count. It is easy to feel this way, especially when there is alleged cheating in an election, but you have power over the government and over the candidates running for office with your vote. By casting your vote, you are part of the group of voters that says "yes" or "no" to whom will be your representative in government. Your vote is important; your voice is important.l If you need Voter Registration information or paperwork, please message me and we can make arrangements so you can get the paperwork.
