My name is Scott Dean. I am fiscally conservative. I have seen the college’s budget, and the amount of money PVC is spending, I want to reduce this spending of taxpayer money. The PVC Board of Trustees needs to focus on spending taxpayer money on the needs of PVC students over administrator wants.

Reducing the taxpayer’s expenses at the college is one of my top priorities. I also want to address, discuss, and change questionable policies that the college has had for years.

It is time for a change at PVC, and this only happens by electing new PVC Trustees.

Vote for Scott Dean and Kati Cusick (write-in candidate) on November 8 for Palo Verde Community College Board of Trustees.

"There are some who feel their vote does not matter or does not count. It is easy to feel this way, especially when there is alleged cheating in an election, but you have power over the government and over the candidates running for office with your vote. By casting your vote, you are part of the group of voters that says "yes" or "no" to whom will be your representative in government. Your vote is important; your voice is important."

Have you ever wondered what the Palo Verde College Board of Trustees does with your tax money? Did you know that in October the PVC Board of Trustees is going to a School Board Member Convention for Board Member training in New York City? You are paying for it with your tax money. The PVC Board members each have airline tickets to New York City purchased with your tax money. The PVC Board Members will each stay at the Marriott Maquis, and, at a cost of $350 per night, it is a very luxurious hotel on Broadway. Paid with your tax money. The PVC Board members will eat at the best restaurants in New York City. Paid for with your tax money. One Trustee said at the September 13 Board Meeting, ""I am looking forward to the training” and that it would be “fun.” Do you want to pay for him the PVC Board Members to have “fun” in New York City? I say no more wasting our tax money.
Vote for responsible fiscal management, not for outrageous trips to New York City. Vote for Scott Dean for Palo Verde Board of Trustees on November 8.
