BU@HMC is celebrating our first 2 graduates! The time, energy, and effort these two have poured into their degrees has finally paid off.

Alisa graduated with a B.S. in Behavioral and Social Science. She now works with high need autistic children in a position that is fulfilling and so important! It is no surprise to those who know her that Alisa is working in area that is all about helping others. Her heart is huge and she is kind!

Hunter graduated with a B.A. in Ministry leadership and is pursuing full time ministry positions. His road has always been leading to ministry and now he is equipped with the education and experience to fully chase that calling. He jumps at every opportunity to serve and just wants to tell people about Jesus. We know he will do important work for the Kingdom!

It will not be the same around here without them, but we are cheering them on with love!

Community is what sets BU@HMC apart from traditional online degrees. Your classes are online, but your community is not. With built-in Chapel, Student Development, and activities throughout the year, our goal is that no BU@HMC student feels isolated or lonely!

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT

Meet Kiara! She transferred to BU@HMC when she felt the call to ministry after a year studying engineering. She is an avid reader, lover of cars, and recently got into photography!
You can find her working with our Middle School Ministry here at Hope, as well as serving the residents of Christian Care in their food service. Kiara is a deep thinker and always down for an adventure. We're so happy to have her here!

It was so fun to watch Nate get a little bit outside his comfort zone yesterday when he spoke at Chapel for Hope's awesome preschoolers! How fun is it that on one end of the church there are kiddos learning more about Jesus alongside their ABC's and on the other side there are young adults pursuing a deeper relationship with Jesus alongside their college education? What a blessing it is to have students, big and small, in our place of worship.

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT

Say hi to Hunter! He is a Junior studying Christian Leadership after transferring to BU@HMC from Word of Life Bible Institute in New York. He is passionate about worship and volunteering with middle and high school students. He's very hands on in ministry and is always willing and eager to jump in when needed. We love what Hunter brings to the table and love watching him continue his ministry journey!

We ended our semester with a time of worship. It's so special to come together and spend time before the Lord, praising Him for all He's done. What a gift it is do be able to do this in the same place we learn.
