North Star Academy Middle School Families,

We look forward to seeing you at Middle School Registration on Monday, August 3, 2026, anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

This is your one stop opportunity to get ready for a great school year! During registration you can:

Pick up your 2026 to 2027 student class schedule
Meet with the school counselor to discuss any schedule questions or concerns
Receive your locker assignment and practice your locker combination
Learn about extracurricular opportunities and request any others you are interested in. This includes Girls Volleyball, Boys Soccer, Boys and Girls Cross Country, and more.
Pay middle school fees online or through the NSA App, available now. Current fees include Cross Country team sign ups, lunch payments, AP Human Geography workbook fee, PE shirts and shorts, NJHS dues, SBO membership, and middle school fees.

Order a Middle School PTO jacket. Middle school students may wear the style with white stripes, while elementary students wear the solid blue version.
Visit with PTO representatives and the administration to get your questions answered before the first day of school.

🌟 Welcome Back to North Star Academy! 🌟

We are so excited to welcome Mrs. White back to the NSA Bear family!

This year she will be teaching Kindergarten while also helping inspire curiosity and creativity across our school through the Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM). Her passion for making learning meaningful and engaging is something our students are sure to love.

A few fun facts about her:

🏔️ When she's not at school, you'll usually find her hiking, camping, swimming, or exploring the outdoors with her family.

☕ Her perfect weekend includes a good book and relaxing on the porch.

🎨 She loves organizing spaces and finding creative ways to make learning fun.

❤️ She believes every child deserves to feel known, capable, and excited to come to school.

Welcome back to the Bear family!

Welcome our newest NSA Bear! Mrs. Nadia Loveridge will be teaching College and Career Awareness, as well as Family Consumer Science beginning next in August. She married her best friend almost three years ago and they have a baby girl.
When she is not spending time with family you can find her in the kitchen, at her sewing machine, reading her kindle or watching a movie!Current love is the regency romance genres! Nadia grew up in Bluffdale, attended Bluffdale Elementary and Summit Academy and then graduated from Riverton High School, and is thrilled to be back in the Bluffdale community!

From Boston's Freedom Trail to the University of Connecticut! 🇺🇸📚

Despite an overnight red-eye flight, our North Star Academy educators hit the ground running by exploring the Freedom Trail—connecting with the rich history that has shaped our nation—before heading to the University of Connecticut for the nationally recognized Confratute Conference.

This week they'll join educators from across the country to deepen their understanding of the Schoolwide Enrichment Model and discover innovative ways to inspire curiosity, creativity, and high levels of engagement in every learner.

North Star Academy is pleased to share this free optional reading resource from the Core Knowledge Foundation. Families are encouraged to explore the collection together and select titles that align with their child's interests and family preferences. This is a relatively new resource the Core Knowledge Foundation is creating and sharing, so we would love to hear your feedback on selections your family decides to read.
