Both Jett (28.6) and Demi (28.1) were super today in their tests and both sitting top 10 in their divisions both.
Now they both think they are exhausted 😴
Walking courses and getting ready to let them play on the cross county course tomorrow!
Witt is just hacking and doing a bit of flat work since he doesn’t start competing until Friday but he has, of course, been perfect 🦄

Made it to Rebecca after some truck trouble yesterday. Horses seem settled and ready to roll tomorrow! Tack is clean thanks to Nicole and Sam is doing last minute beautifying.
First up in the sandbox is Jett at 8 am and then Demi around 11.
Excited to show off these awesome horses I get to ride!!

This year my Christmas came a bit early! I am so fortunate to have Val Geist of High Altitude Saddlery and Bliss of London as sponsors keeping me and my horses balanced and comfortable while training and competing. My Bliss jump saddles are amazing and my horses LOVE them, not to mention I love the customization I have on them!
Val also fits my GORGEOUS N2 dressage saddles perfectly. I’m so grateful to have her on my team!!

As I have actually had time to sit and reflect a little bit on this year it really hit me how far we’ve come.
A year ago today Mags wasn’t even backed. In November this year he cruised around YEH championships and Galway at Novice.
One year ago Witt had tried to do Novice at SAzHT but ended up spending 5 days at the vet clinic on the edge of colic surgery. This November he finished 2nd in his first Prelim and was all business.
A year ago Luke won his first Novice back after colic surgery and a broken radius. This year in November he ate up the prelim XC and galloped around strong.
A year ago I hadn’t even met Demi and she’d never jumped. Her start to the season was late July but she rocked around Novice at Galway.
Some of my fox girls were still doing xrails and learning to canter in 2 point, one didn’t even have her horse a year ago. This October they went to Scottsdale and jumped around beautifully with so much confidence.
It’s so easy to feel like you’re always in the same place but when you truly look at it there has been so much growth.
A huge thank you to everyone who has helped along the way.
I have and have had some of the best and most supportive owners.
I have been privileged to have fabulous coaching and support this year from James Atkinson.
Im lucky enough to have teamed up with Val at High Altitude Saddlery.
And in general, I’m so grateful that I get to do what I love even through the highs and the lows.
Onward and upward to another year. More planning, more learning, and, as always, more growing.

Galway Downs this last week was super!! All four of the horses I am so fortunate to work with were truly wonderful. I don’t have pictures of everyone yet but here are some of Mt. Whitney rocking around his first prelim finishing second!
So grateful for High Altitude Saddlery, Bliss of London and Redmond Equine products for their continued support!!
