Get ready, Bluefield families! 🎒📚
Tomorrow, Monday, August 24, 2026, marks the start of Bluefield Intermediate's first full week of the school year! We are so thrilled and can't wait for an incredible year of learning, growing, and making memories with our students.
As we kick off this exciting week, we want to remind everyone about the power of showing up every single day!
Why Attendance Matters
Consistent attendance is the foundation of student success. When students are in class every day, they:
Build strong academic habits and keep up with daily lessons.
Stay connected with their peers and feel a sense of belonging in our school community.
Avoid the stress of trying to catch up on missed classwork and instructions.
How Parents Can Help
We know mornings can be hectic, but partnering with us makes all the difference! You can help your child succeed by:
Establishing a solid bedtime routine so they wake up refreshed and ready to learn.
Preparing the night before (laying out clothes, packing backpacks, and organizing lunches).
Setting a consistent morning alarm to ensure you stay on schedule.
Important Morning Schedule Reminders
Student Drop-Off Begins: 7:00 a.m.
Tardy Bell Rings: 7:30 a.m.
Please make sure your child is in their classroom and ready to learn by 7:30 a.m. sharp so they don't miss a single minute of instruction!
Let’s make this first full week amazing, Bluefield! Let us know in the comments if you're ready for a fantastic school year! 👇✨
