As we kick off another wonderful school year, we're looking for volunteers to help with two of our biggest fall events: Grandparent's Day and our Scholastic Christian Book Fair!

Dr. Snow has encouraged each PHCA family to serve at one event during the school year, and these are wonderful opportunities to support our students, teachers, and school community.

Volunteer opportunities are available September 22–25, with a variety of shifts and responsibilities to fit different schedules. Whether you can give an hour or several, your help truly makes a difference and allows these events to run smoothly.

Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, or an adult who loves and supports one of our students - we’d love to have you join us. Come meet the PTF board, hear what we’re working on, learn about upcoming events and opportunities, share your ideas, and see how PTF supports our teachers, students and school community.

Meet Our PTF Board – Jena Hudson
Community & Volunteer Engagement Coordinator

We're excited to introduce Jena Hudson, our Community & Volunteer Engagement Coordinator!

Jena and her husband, Josh, have been together for 25 years and have three children: a 23-year-old social worker in Minnesota, a 19-year-old welder, and Adley, a PHCA freshman. This marks their fourth year as part of the PHCA family.

Jena loves partnering with PHCA to create an environment where students can truly thrive. She's passionate about welcoming families, connecting volunteers, and making our school community even stronger. She's especially excited to build on last year's successes—and can't wait for this year's Christmas Shop, her favorite PHCA tradition, complete with lots of fun new items!

When she's not at school, you'll find Jena gardening, homesteading, walking, playing cards, or cheering on a soccer game. Fun fact: she's been a massage therapist for 16 years and works from a tiny home on her property!

Meet Our PTF Board – Jen Collier, Treasurer
We're excited to introduce Jen Collier, who is serving her second year on the PHCA PTF Board and her first year as Treasurer!

Jen and her husband, Kyle, have been married for 21 years and have three children—Ella, a PHCA Class of 2025 graduate now in college, Ava, a senior, and Isaac, a 4th grader. Their family also includes two fun-loving pups, Bruno and Raider!

Now in their fourth year at PHCA, Jen says one word best describes our school: Family. She loves the Christ-centered community and the way students, parents, and staff genuinely care for one another.

Jen chose to serve on the PTF to build relationships, serve alongside other parents, and be the hands and feet of Jesus within our school community. Her favorite PHCA tradition is Basket Bonanza, and when she's not at school, you'll find her crocheting, baking sourdough, gardening, reading, or spending time with her family.

Jen's encouragement to PHCA families: "Get involved however your schedule allows! Serving alongside other families has been one of the greatest blessings for our family."
