The City of Blue Springs will be holding a virtual open house as part of the Blue Springs Next Comprehensive Plan available until October 16 here: https://bit.ly/470REjF.

When completed, the Plan will provide a roadmap for future growth in Blue Springs, focusing on land use, transportation, housing, education, parks and trails, infrastructure, and economic development. The planning and public engagement process will be guided by the Planning Division along with the support the City’s partners at Olsson.

Get ready for a spook-tacular good time! Spooky Springs is back on October 24th.

Break out your best costume and get ready for games, pumpkin decorating, trick or treating, food trucks and the legendary spooky trail! This is a family-friendly event. Please note the trail becomes "scary" after 7.pm. Vendors will be set up starting at 5 p.m. for early access. Event runs 6 - 8 p.m.

We've heard your requests and changes are coming! Beginning today, October 5th, Brews and Blends will have new and improved hours to help serve you better.

Updated Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 6 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 4 - 8:30 p.m.
Friday: 6 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 4 - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

With these expanded hours, the vending machines located near the courts and turf will no longer be available. Instead, Brews and Blends will be offering addition options. See you at Brews and Blends!

FREE Women’s Self-Defense Course!

The Blue Springs Police Department is offering a FREE Women’s Self-Defense Course designed to help participants build confidence and learn practical, easy-to-remember techniques that could make all the difference in a difficult situation.
No experience is needed, and all fitness levels are welcome! The course is open to ages 13 and up, and you do not have to be a Blue Springs resident to participate. Age requirements may be flexible depending on the circumstances.

Course Dates:
October 12, 13, 20 & 21
Time: 6:00–9:00 PM

The course will focus on confidence-building techniques and simple but powerful self-defense strategies that can be used regardless of skill or experience level.
