The FCHS Rebels and Lady Rebels cross country teams competed in the Championship Race at the Alexander (Brian Robinson) Invitational on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026.
Based on our records, this is the first time in school history that a Fannin XC team has qualified for and competed at the championship level at this meet.
The Rebels were led by senior Winn Rickenbaker, followed by Jamari Dunn, Kyler Wilson, Henry Schueneman, Rylin Davis, Mitchell Martin, Jonathon Chambers, and Wyatt Craine.
The Lady Rebels were led by sophomore Townson Rickenbaker, followed by Kensley Pickelsimer, Karrissa Martin, Lana Hicks, Hailey Stewart, Sydney Ford, Garin Rickenbaker, and Nathalie Sowers.

Both the Rebels and Lady Rebels cross country teams remain ranked in the Top 4 in the state in the AA classification, which is more challenging than AAA and almost as challenging as AAAA when it comes to cross country.
Our varsity FCHS Rebels and Lady Rebels cross country teams will compete next on Friday, October 9th, 2026, under the lights in the Championship Race at the Pickens & Grinnin' Invitational at Roper Park in Jasper, GA.
