Blue Ridge Middle School will administer the Beginning of Year Test (BOY) next week, from Monday, August 24th to Thursday, August 27th. Please see the testing schedule AND lunch schedules. Students' lunches are determined by what they have in 3rd and 4th period.

The National School Lunch Program requires households to fill out a new application for free/reduced lunch every school year, including households that were approved last school year. These applications must be completed within the first 30 days of the new school year, or the benefits will expire. Benefits from the previous year will expire on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Students whose households have not renewed their application by September 24th will be required to pay for meals. We encourage you to check with the cafeteria on the status of your household and benefits as soon as possible. You may fill out an application online or submit a paper copy. The applications are available on the Blue Ridge ISD website, at www.bit.ly/LunchAppBRISD, or at your child's campus.

Please review these essential procedures to ensure a safe and efficient afternoon pick-up:

Dismissal Timeline: Pick-up begins at 3:55 PM and is typically completed by 4:10 PM.
Traffic Flow: Please follow the Green Arrows to keep the line moving efficiently. Staff members will help guide traffic; please pull forward to the Yellow Ellipse when instructed.
Daycare Parking Restriction: Do not park in the spaces next to the RED line. These are strictly reserved for daycare families so toddlers do not have to cross active traffic.
Pedestrian Safety: Staff will assist walking students across the street. Please use extreme caution when driving near the Blue Arrow between 3:55 PM and 4:05 PM.

Please note the following important drop-off updates and procedures:

Cafeteria Doors: Open at 7:30 AM (New Time).
Female Athletes: If arriving after 7:30 AM, please enter through the cafeteria and proceed directly to the gym.
Traffic Flow: Follow the Green Arrows upon arrival. After drop-off, exit via N. Church Street or Tiger Lane to keep traffic moving efficiently.
Bus Lane Restriction: Do not cross the RED line. This area is strictly reserved for buses. Shortcuts disrupt bus drop-offs and create safety hazards for everyone.
Late Arrivals: Students dropped off at 8:10 AM or later must enter through the main building entrance.

What a fantastic evening at our BRMS Meet the Teacher! It was wonderful to see so many of our amazing students, families, and community members.

A huge thank you to our incredible, hardworking, and sometimes CRAZY staff for making the night run so smoothly!

Extra special shout-outs to our award-winning BRMS Cheer Squad, Tee the Tiger, and the award-winning BRISD Band—you brought the energy and set an incredible tone for the evening! 📣🎷🐯
