This summer crews with HGC Construction are working to complete phase one of the multi-use field house! We look forward to using this space this September!

Interior athletics at Sycmaore High School has been in a multi phase renovation over the past few years. Included in the renovation are newly designed locker rooms, team rooms, offices and the main gym. We couldn’t be more excited to officially open these spaces early August!

Welcome home! As demolition continues on the old Jr. High, we look forward to welcoming students, staff and families to our new building for the 2023-2024 school year. Thanks to our partners at SHP for the amazing photos!

In April of 2024 the Sycamore community will celebrate the opening of the new Seger Family Natatorium. This summer our partners at PSS Contractors in coordination with HGC Construction are building the pool so that an enclosure can happen prior to winter.

Operations are underway at our new Transportation facility. We are so thankful for our communities support in creating a space that will meet the needs of our families for years to come!

Give a big virtual hand to our Maintenance/Custodial Staff Member of the Year, Mr. Gordon Shank! 👏👏 Mr. Gordon is the Custodial Supervisor at Symmes Elementary. Parents who nominated him could not say enough good things about his positive engagement with students.

"Mr. Gordon is such a positive and outgoing member of the Symmes family! He knows every kid by name and is always encouraging them, joking with them, and making every interaction with them fun! He takes the time to get to know kids, parents and staff! He goes the extra mile to always help the PTO before and after school for the planned events and always does it with a smile on his face! He even let the students silly string him for their fundraising efforts this spring! Mr. Gordon is an integral part of the Sycamore family and Symmes would not be the same without him!"
