Director of Sullivan County Schools, Mr. Chuck Carter, draws a name from a hat held by SCRTA president, Diane Castle. The winner will be the recipient of the 2025 grant from the association. The name of the lucky teacher will be announced at Thursday, November 6 board meeting.

You should have recently received a ballot in the mail. It was a a yellow,gold color. It is for voting for NEA delegates. The deadline for mailing your ballot has been extended to February 17
Many of us know Joann smith Mashburn as she worked in Sullivan county many years. Others on the ballot whom Angela knows are Linda, DeWayne, Anna, Ronald and Eloise

Very sorry to post that we have lost two members recently
Ginny Snow and Jane Bellamy. I do not have obituary information so if anyone does and would like to post it in the comments I would appreciate it it.. We extend our sincere sympathy and prayers to friends and families of these beloved members
