And just like that… Year FIVE is underway! 💙💛

Five years of friendships, learning, laughter, messy projects, big adventures, and watching our Shine kids grow together. What started as an idea has turned into a community that means more to us than we ever could have imagined.

We are so excited to welcome our Colonial Heights families back for another year of learning, connecting, and making memories together.

Here’s to Year 5 and another amazing year of letting our kids SHINE!

We can’t wait for our Bristol and Elizabethton locations to start back, later this week!

If you have a student enrolled in Shine Academy for the 2026 Fall semester, please follow this link to read and agree to the Handbook, Waiver of Liabilty and other policies. This form must be signed before the students attend. Thanks and we look forward to seeing you all very soon!

Does your family attend Shine and you would like to get more involved? We are currently building location boards for all locations! Fill out the form below to nominate a friend or show interest for yourself!

A few things to know:

⭐️ Location Boards will meet once a month at their location.

⭐️ Board may need to meet over call, zoom or group message if something urgent comes up.

⭐️ Board members must believe in the mission and by-laws of Shine Academy.

⭐️ Board will have limited seats. A nomination does not mean a seat will for sure be available.
