PotashCorp ECO Lodge The PotashCorp ECO Lodge is an environmental science education facility serving eastern North Carolina.

The PotashCorp ECO Lodge is an environmental education center on the south side of the Pamlico River near Blounts Creek, NC, located within the East Carolina Scout Reservation, home of Camp Boddie and the Pamlico Sea Base. Science and nature educational programs are provided by our director and volunteer instructors for Scouts, K-12 public/private schools, college, community groups and the citizen

s of eastern North Carolina. The ECO Lodge was made possible by a generous grant from our neighbor and community partner, PotashCorp - Aurora. We would also like to thank Principal Construction Co., of Greenville, NC for their contributions and excellent construction. Director- Curt Hendrix

As the seasons progress, camp takes on a different look to accompany the season. Over the course of the year it gos from icy and brown to verdant and green. Different plants and animals reveal themselves in different parts of the year. Enjoy the wondrous show of nature found at Camp Boddie.

Just because Camp is in full swing doesn't mean all the animals have gone into hiding. They are just a little harder to find, our Game Camera has captured a few of the animals in the Wilderness Area. More Game Cam will be posted as we check out different areas of Camp.
